Denice Salinas/Owner/Producer/Director

For me, filmmaking is an art, and aesthitically well use of cinematic spaces to tell a good story, one that is believable,

emotional, educational, and enjoyable for the audience intended. I want to ensure that my characters are known, lo-

cations are set, actions are seen, and words are spoken clearly to create the mise en' scene I lay upon my audience.

I like to be creative, imaginative, and sometimes, I just like to be simple and get straight to the point. However, I don't

want my audience to be bored or have to ask questions, so as an artist, I want to ensure that doesn't happen.

I enjoy movies of all genres, but mostly, I enjoy a good comedy, where laughter comes natural through the actions,

expressions, and sometimes words. One of my greatest inspirations is Charlie Chaplin, for his brilliant directing in

silent films such as "City Lights" and "Gold Rush", where the actions have no need for words. There are so many

other directors and writers who inspire me, and I hope one day, someone will use my name as their inspiration for

BIO:

Denice Salinas, producer, director, and screenwriter, currently resides

in Grass Valley, California. She holds an AA in Psychology, an AS

and BFA degree in filmmaking from the The Art Institute of California

and The Art Institute of Tennessee.

She has many short narrative and documentary films to her name, including

"I Love My Child" "Simple Truth" "Amazing Grace". She is currently in

in the pre-production stage of a feature length film "Lil' Varmints", and is in the

developmental stage of a couple of feature length films, "Inner Beauty" and

"Lost Memories", and an audio play "Heaven's Children", based on a novel she

had written a few years ago.
